Our game room, fireplace and guest bathroom were remodeled last month by Quality Stone of Austin (QSA). Jose Navarro's team demonstrated good work ethic, efficency, skills, excellent customer relationships, and very competitive price. When we solicited quotes from a number of vendors, several well-known local granite companies provided a variaty of design ideas but little details on how everything is going to work together. Jose is the only one who was able to explain his team's design and technical details in relatively easy-to-understand terms. So we felt comfortable that QSA can do an excellent job. It turns out we made the right decision! Jose also came up with an exotic but more complex design for the backsplash of our web bar in the game room without charing additional installation fees. One thing worthy of mention is that QSA is fully capable of managing a "complete" job from granite countertops, backsplash, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, etc. The work is either performed by their own crew or their associates. QSA coordinated all the schedule and tasks for us. We are very impressed that all them provided high quality work and almost perferct work ethic even under stressful situation. For instance, after Simon (the plumber) installed all the facuets and resolved several unexpected complications, it's already very late in the evening. He still insisted on covering up a not-that-noticeable hole inside the cabinet in the proper way. The other example is that Jose took the initiative to handle some capentry work on the trims under granite counter top (he did a wonderful job on that!) so we can use our contertop without waiting for a carpenter. We also witnessed QSA granite team's good work ethic in many occasions. For instance, our wall behind the fireplace was not perfectly straight, which adds difficulty when trying to keep the marble slabs flush with the edges of the wall. The team actually delivered a almost "seamless" and elegant marble fireplace. Also they were very considerate by covering the work areas with new drop cloth, clearing the debris left from the work inside the house and in the yard. To us, Quality Stone and Jose's teams demonstrated "skill" and "professionalism". Overall, their performance is outstanding. By Tina
